Beginning of Sherman's Amusement Park

Present Merry-Go-Round would be in the rear of this picture near the dark trees. These Custer Cars eventually ended up at Pine Lake. The cars are parked on what is now the "midway."

Remember those battery operated "clunkers"? The third time you went over the metal flap on the "raceway" board track, the battery tripped and you rolled to a stop.

Have to give Frank Sherman and his dad, who started this place, a lot of credit for the vision for "Sherman's." They were years ahead of Disney, Knott's Berry Farm, and other well known parks.
